Mexico Surrogacy and Cross-Border IVF: POWER IVF Joins Global Forum

From August 22 to 23, 2025, the International Assisted Reproduction Summit — “DIALOGOS DE LA REPRODUCCIÓN” — was held in Querétaro, Mexico. The forum is recognized as one of the most authoritative and influential academic gatherings in Latin America’s reproductive medicine field, bringing together leading experts, researchers, and reproductive medicine institutions from the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

This year’s event attracted many internationally renowned fertility centers, laboratories, and top Latin American medical groups, building an important bridge for global collaboration in assisted reproduction.

As CEO of Power Fertility Center (POWER IVF) in Mexico, Dr. Nathan Zhang Xin was invited as a distinguished guest speaker for his pioneering contributions to China-U.S.-Mexico integration in assisted reproduction and cross-border medical services. He delivered a keynote address at the main forum.

High-Level Academic Exchange with Diverse Topics

The conference framework included more than 25 keynote lectures, multiple roundtable discussions, and two clinical workshops. Topics covered cutting-edge reproductive technologies, policy and ethical insights, as well as clinical practices and hands-on training. It is regarded as one of Mexico’s largest and most content-rich in-person events in the field of assisted reproduction.

On August 23, the main academic forum reached its peak with groundbreaking presentations. One highlight was the joint lecture by Dr. Nathan and Dr. Juan Carlos Alcivia titled “Advances in Assisted Reproduction and Gamete Donation,” which sparked enthusiastic discussions. Dr. Nathan focused on building a safe, efficient, and standardized gamete donation system, ensuring the quality and safety of donor eggs and sperm. He also addressed critical aspects of cross-border gamete and embryo transport, including conditions and regulatory policies, offering practical guidance for the development of compliant global reproductive services. Dr. Alcivia shared valuable insights on laboratory quality control and adherence to international compliance standards, underscoring their role in safeguarding safety and effectiveness.

Dr. Nathan also presented POWER IVF’s experience in cross-border medical services and U.S.-Mexico-China integration, showing how the clinic combines global resources to deliver comprehensive and personalized reproductive solutions, providing an innovative model for the industry.

Driving Standards and Supporting Family-Building Dreams

In his speech, Dr. Zhang emphasized: “Assisted reproduction is becoming globalized. Only by establishing a complete chain across legal compliance, advanced technology, and service systems can we truly provide families with high-quality solutions.”

As a leading reproductive center in Mexico’s core cities, POWER IVF highlights several strengths:

Technology aligned with the U.S.: Clinical standards follow U.S. protocols, and the embryology lab is led by former directors from major U.S. IVF centers.

Global resource integration: Fully licensed for cross-border transport and storage of eggs, sperm, and embryos, with services covering the Americas, Asia, and Europe.

Cost-effectiveness: Providing equivalent clinical and laboratory standards as in the U.S., while overall treatment costs are about one-third of those in the U.S.

Legal protection: Mexican law permits assisted reproduction for single individuals and LGBTQ+ families, ensuring inclusivity and family rights.

With the successful conclusion of “DIALOGOS DE LA REPRODUCCIÓN,” POWER IVF not only demonstrated its technical expertise on the international academic stage but also reaffirmed its mission to advance cross-border reproductive care and create new possibilities for diverse families.
