From April 17-19, 2025, the 23rd Shanghai International Medical Tourism Exhibition (CMTF) and the 5th International Functional Medicine Innovation Conference were grandly held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center. With the theme of "Innovation·Integration·Win-Win," the conference brought together over 300 top medical institutions and enterprises from more than 30 countries and regions, including the United States, Japan, Thailand, and Mexico, attracting over 20,000 professional visitors for exchanges. During the exhibition, over a hundred cutting-edge medical forums were held, covering nine major hot topics including international assisted reproduction, cell therapy, and anti-aging management, building a high-standard communication platform for the global medical and health industry.
At this conference, Dr. Nathan Zhang, CEO of POWER IVF, was invited to deliver a keynote speech, deeply analyzing the core advantages of Mexico as a newly preferred destination for global IVF. Dr. Nathan Zhang focused on sharing the "US-Mexico Integrated Medical System" solution launched by POWER IVF. This innovative model integrates US reproductive technology with Mexico's medical cost advantages, providing international patients with cost-effective assisted reproductive services, which sparked widespread attention and enthusiastic discussions among attending experts and audiences.

With the popularization of assisted reproductive technology and the growth of cross-border medical needs, more and more families are seeking cost-effective, legal, and compliant overseas IVF services. Dr. Nathan Zhang pointed out in his speech: "Mexico, with its medical standards synchronized with the United States, open legal environment, and significant cost advantages, is rapidly becoming one of the preferred destinations for global IVF families."

US-Mexico Integrated Medical System: Perfect Combination of Quality and Accessibility
At this exhibition, Dr. Nathan Zhang provided a detailed professional analysis of the key core advantages of Mexico IVF:
First, medical technology synchronized with the United States. POWER Fertility Center Mexico strictly follows US clinical standards, with an experienced team of embryologists overseeing laboratory quality throughout the process, ensuring the technical reliability of crucial steps such as embryo culture and genetic screening.
Second, global fertility resource allocation. Support for the cross-border transportation and storage of global eggs, sperm, and embryos, enabling flexible allocation of medical resources.
Third, cost-effective IVF. Under the same technical standards, the overall cost of Mexico IVF is about half that of the United States, significantly reducing the financial burden on families.
Fourth, legal and regulatory support. Mexican law allows single individuals and LGBTQ+ groups to legally undergo assisted reproduction.
Fifth, identity advantages. The child's parents can simultaneously obtain permanent residency in Mexico.
Sixth, time cost advantages. Many cities in China have direct flights to Mexico, allowing patients to reach POWER Fertility Center efficiently.
In his speech, Dr. Nathan Zhang emphasized: "Our mission is to break the limitations of geography and resources, so that every family can equally enjoy high-quality fertility solutions."

During the exhibition, the POWER IVF booth (booth number: D18-D19) attracted a large number of visitors for consultations. Dr. Nathan Zhang and Dr. Carpio, an expert physician from POWER Fertility Center Mexico, along with his medical team, provided "one-on-one consultation and Q&A" for visitors. Many attendees expressed that the US-Mexico integrated solution indeed provided them with a "cost-effective and reassuring" new choice.
Mr. Liu from Hangzhou said after the consultation: "My wife has actually had 3 failed IVF attempts. Through the detailed explanation from Dr. Zhang's team, I learned that Mexico not only has the same embryo laboratory standards as the United States, but the cost is only half of that in the US. This truly surprised me, so I immediately started planning to go to Mexico for IVF, and I especially hope to welcome our baby soon."

In addition to this industry summit, Dr. Carpio, a reproductive medicine expert from POWER IVF Mexico, collaborated with Saipan Reproductive Center to host the Global Fertility Alliance Conference and is also conducting a series of offline Q&A and sharing sessions on Mexico assisted reproduction in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Bangkok, and other cities.
